The 1950s' airshow fan favorite.
The United States Air Forces Europe (U.S.A.F.E.) established the Skyblazers aerobatic demonstration team in 1949. Comprised of 22nd Fighter Squadron pilots from the 36th Fighter Wing, the Skyblazers first flew F-80B Shooting Stars. By 1955, they transitioned to the F86F-35 Sabre, which wowed airshow crowds by the thousands. Although the Skyblazers disbanded in 1962, they remain one of history's most influential air stunt teams.
