Primarily flown in the Pacific Theater, the SBD Dauntless was one of the U.S. Marine Corps' most valuable assets in WWII. Some of the most famous squadrons to fly the SBD-1 Dauntless include VMSB-132 and VMSB-232, which happens to be the oldest, most decorated Marine Corps squadron.
