The Luftwaffe's surefire success.
The Jagdgeschwader 53 (JG53) fighter-wing adopted the Messerschmitt Bf 109 in early 1941, just as it was preparing for Operation Barbarossa. From June-December, 1941, JG53 scored 762 Soviet "kills" with help from the BF 109. By comparison, JG53 only lost 37 aircraft, a testament to the Luftwaffe's firepower and fighting skills. This limited edition kit features new bomb parts and new metal inlet parts.
