One of the Spitfire's fastest foes.
Until the Spitfire Mk. IX was introduced in July, 1942, the Focke-Wulf Fw 190 proved to be quite a formidable foe for the RAF on the Eastern Front. The A-8 variant offered the C3-injection emergency boost system (which allowed pilots to get fast bursts of fuel to outrun their opponents) and a new bubble canopy for improved visibility. This limited edition kit features new under-wing panel parts and new resin parts for the Bv426 Hagelkorn guidable glide bomb.
