Nakajima KI27 (Nate) Limited Edition

Nakajima KI27 (Nate) Limited Edition

Out-strafe Soviets with the IJAAF

The Ki-27 was developed by Nakajima in 1935 to replace the Kawasaki® Ki-10 fighter biplane. What the Ki-27 lacked in speed and climbing ability, it made up in maneuverability. In 1939's Battle of Khalkhin Gol, Ki-27s squared off against Soviet I-15 bipes and I-16 monoplanes. When faster I-16s appeared, Ki-27s no longer cut it. As a result, they were relegated to being bomber escorts during WWII's early days.

Decal Option:

  1. IJAAF 1st F.R. 2nd Company Capt. Keisuke Yamada Kagamihara A.F. June 1939
