1/72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Rabaul Combo Limited Edition

1/72 Mitsubishi A6M3 Zero Rabaul Combo Limited Edition

Aircraft from Japan's Pacific stronghold

Following 1942's Battle of Rabaul, Japanese troops transformed the popular Papua New Guinea township into a major operations hub. Barracks were built. Tunnels were dug. By the following year, about 110,000 Japanese troops were stationed in Rabaul. And where there are troops, there are aircraft. One of Japan's biggest assets was its fleet of A6M3 Zeroes. This first-class fighter helped the IJN control Rabaul until the war's end in 1945. This limited edition kit combo features one Type 22 Zero and one Type 32 Zero, each with three marking options.
