Nicknamed "Joe’s Jokers" after their first commanding officer, Major Joe Foss, the VMFA-115 Silver Eagles are based at the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South Carolina. Operating since 1943, the squadron transitioned from the F-4 Phantom II to the F/A-18 Hornet in 1985, with their nickname officially becoming the "Silver Eagles" the following year. This limited edition kit features detailed parts and decals to recreate one of two Silver Eagles aircraft:
