WWII's most celebrated fighter pilots.
The Tuskegee Airmen were first equipped with P-40 Warhawks, P-47 Thunderbolts and P-39 Airacobras. However, the P-51 Mustang became the group's signature aircraft. Operating with the Fifteenth Air Force in Italy, the Tuskegee Airmen used their skills to protect bombers from enemy fighters.
