1/72 Mitsubishi Ki67 Type 4 Heavy Bomber Hiryu (Peggy)

1/72 Mitsubishi Ki67 Type 4 Heavy Bomber Hiryu (Peggy)

The Hiryu "Flying Dragon" and known under the Allied code name of "Peggy" was a medium bomber that was produced by Mitsubishi and was powered by two 1,900 hp 18-cylinder air-cooled radial engines. The Ki-67 was a very robust aircraft, able to withstand heavy battle damage and employed good defensive armament. It's high manueverability allowed the aircraft to carry out dive bombing attacks and escape from a low level. The Allies first saw this aircraft in action in a sea battle off Formosa in October of 1944. This Hasegawa model of the medium bomber includes 133 highly detailed parts and decals for replicating two aircraft. I. J.A.A.F. Hamamatsu flight training division Code: 159, 1944-45. I. J.A.A.F.
